Las Vegas Sightseeing - Casino hopping is what you will most likely do when you first arrive in the city of Las Vegas. Try to remember there’s more to the city of Las Vegas than just the wonderful casinos. There are plenty of things to do and we’ve listed ten of them below with their contact information. One of the things you should do when you’re in Las Vegas is take a Gondola Ride at the Venetian. It will be a wonderful experience. You’ll also want to see the Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat while you’re in Las Vegas. Don’t forget to go the Stratosphere Tower to get some great views of the city.

So much to do and so little time is what you’ll be thinking. See as much of wonderful Las Vegas that you can.

Gondola Rides at the Venetian

One place everyone loves is the Gondola Ride at the Venitian Hotel. Do troop along to the Venetian hotel, take a Gondola ride and make believe you are in Venice. It is a representation of the Grand Canal and there are bridges, cafes, balconies the lot. You gondolier, of course sings as you glide along. There is an indoor and an outdoor ride and the ride ids around $15-18 an adult BUT if you want a private two passenger gondola for a romantic ride - that is available for around $60-70. So be sure to take a Gondola Ride at the Venetian when you’re in Las Vegas. It will be a highlight of your trip.

Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat

The Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat is another place you will enjoy visiting. It is open from 11am to 5.30 and it opens a little earlier at the weekend. You can go to both the Secret Garden and the Dolphins for about $15 for adults. There are all sorts of unusual animals like a black panther, lions and tiger plus in the Dolphin habitat there are about nine dolphins and you can observe them up close in very natural surroundings.

Stratosphere Tower

The Stratosphere Tower has a revolving restaurant at the top for some great views of the city. It is the tallest observation tower in the US of its type. You can either go outside to enjoy the view or go to the indoor deck both are over 800 ft high! It is open from 10am to 1am all days of the week so you can go in the evening and wonder at the myriads of neon lights. The cost is around $10 for adults.

The Paris Las Vegas is another place you should visit when in Las Vegas. It has an Eiffel tower replica and there are great views, too.

Star Trek: The Experience

The Star Trek: The Experience is another place to visit. It has lots of Star Trek memorabilia in the Star Trek store with a huge range of souvenirs and collectibles for all ages. They have several different shows including the BORG Invasion and the original show namely the Klingon Encounter. There is also a History of the future Museum for you to enjoy. For the rides you need to be 42”. The combined ticket is about $35-40 and the Experience is great fun for Trekkies and everyone.

The Red Rock Canyon is where you want to go to get some great photos of this stunning wild place with its red soil/sand and jagged rocks in the Mojave Desert.
