Las Vegas Tourist Office - You’ll definitely want to call into one of the tourist offices in Las Vegas as you can get loads of info from them - from maps, brochures, leaflets and more importantly what’s on during your visit.

You may also want to contact them be fore you leave on your trip and have them send you a welcome to the area package. This is a great thing to do because they will send you maps of the area along with brochures of the various attractions in Las Vegas. They will give you plenty of background information on the city, too. It is well worth the phone call and will help in preparing your trip.

When you’re in Las Vegas stop in the tourist office to gather information on special events that are taking place while you’re in town. They’ll know all the latest happenings and what places are the best nightspots.

They will know lots of information on the hotels in the area and can even help with reservations if you need them. Ask them questions because they know the area well. They’ll have the answers for you. Anything you need to know about Las Vegas.

The climate in Las Vegas is glorious. The summers are hot, because Las Vegas is in the desert. Be sure to dress for hot weather with light clothing because you’ll be seeing many days with the temperatures in the 90 - 100 degree range and you’ll be searching out the shade. In the Fall it becomes milder and the temperatures are in the 50 - 60 degree range. The weather will be gentle during the winters too. The lows are in the mid 40’s.
